Close-Up

Close-Ups are shoots that focus on a personā€˜s face, or on the details of an object, as a way to show its importance.

Characters are showed from the neck up so that the audience can see the character’s emotions and reactions.

Faces should not be shot from a distance because they will look flat, the ideal distance being from 1.5 to 2.5 meters away.
